Well, us British have been invaded and conquered by the Norman and the French. They're not doing a very good job though; the Norman have been having lots of struggles controlling us. There aren't many of them so it's like we can control them soon. Before the Normans arrived, we had a medieval form of government. We were divided into different administrative groups. Now that the Normans took over, our government is more sophisticated and we've made some new developments.
I grew up in Britain and have leaved here ever since I was born. I had a wonderful child not a trouble in the world, not until the Europeans invaded.Britain. Britain have never seen days as bad as they are now. They are having difficulty controlling us, seeing that we dont want to be controlled.Everything has changed, starting with the government. I can't seem to find anything good coming out from this invasion.
my country is now center of attention, Africa is eye candy for every curious European out there. myself and others are being pulled into Christianity and the culture from westerners. however i try to convince myself this is not a negative change when schools and medical centers are being built. this man who goes by Dr.Livingstone who expresses he stands for us and now lies hope for others like me who can potentially enslaved or already are.
Dear Journal, Ever since Great Britain has been looking for resources to expand their markets, their reach has extended to my continent. Ever since the British set foot in my country, they have ravaged the land looking for gold and resources that they could ship back to their country. Other Europeans who aren't trying to take our resources are missionaries who come to try to convert us to Christianity. British imperialism has been detrimental to our country and we need to seek independence.
Africa was once a place filled with natural resources and a place with a surplus of commodities. This made our country a target for European take over. They have taken over to make sure they control trade in our country. We never really put all the commodities we had offered to us to good use considering we already had the trade slave making plenty of money for us. However the Europeans mustve seen it differently when they took over.
Unfortunately, the British have been invaded by the Europeans, in attempt to conquer our everyday life and influence their culture, religion, etc upon us. They are not doing a good job and there is a clear lack of progress.
It is unfortunate, but my homeland of Africa has been invaded by Europe. It is not fair to us that they have came here to steal our land, they force us to follow their religion and customs, and take control of our trades and resources. We need to find a way to fight for our freedom and find independence from them.
Recently Britain has been coming and taking our natural resources and trying to make us convert to Christianity. They are driving us crazy with all of the things they want and need from us like taking our goods, trying to convince us to turn to christianity and spread their culture. They are trying to control us and they aren't doing a very good job.
My home land Africa is the biggest thing every European out there wants right now. Life is starting to become really tough with so many things happening out of nowhere. I try to look on the bright side though theirs medical centers that were being built now and thats actually good because over here in Africa its pretty dangerous. The French , Belgian , and the Portuguese empire have a lot of competition going on ; to limit the competition the three empires have decided to participate in the Berlin Conference of 1884. Also the Irish colonies are united by the Act of Union 1800.

They notice all of the positives of taking over africa plus the fact that we would not be able to revolt against them given our weak state. They are trying to impose their ways on us, including Religion. They are forcing us to practice and embrace Christianity instead of our preferred native religion. This might seem to be a very positive move for Europe, however from where i am standing, it seems completely negative. We are simply ornaments to the Europeans
There has been a big struggle in Britain at this time. Our natural resources are getting dangerously low. This will not be good for us because then we will become very weak. Sadly the we the Europeans were invaded by the British, and although they succeeded taking over the us I can assure you that they didn't do a good job and it is well shown that they didn't do well on influencing their religion, culture, etc upon us. I understand that our natural resources were a main cause of the invasion but I don't believe that it is necessary to try keep spreading Christianity if we show that we don't want to be part of their religion. I am very displeased at the fact that hey invaded our country but I'm even more displeased at the fact that they invaded and took total control of our freedom.

Dear Diary, Myself and others are forced to learn the language of French, and then we will be forced to European nations to trade our lives to work for rich know-it-alls. I'm scared and I'm trying to eat as much possible because I know I won't be able to have that many food during this slave trade. I can't believe England took over my country, this place that I've known my whole life, I don't know anymore.

Here comes the French, with their violent weapons of war to disrupt our peaceful society, now disturbed by warships, and yelling soldiers with guns. we are no match for them, our protectors have disappeared, and there is no one to defend us.
Dear diary, Today i am being forced to bypass my native ways and adjust to a new "Better" way of living. Our government has been altered to benefit the Europeans and all of our natural resources are being taken. On a good note, there have been a surplus of medical centers around, but these would not be of need if our resources and crops had not been blatantly stolen. We are peaceful here in Africa, but this madness needs to stop. Hopefully all of our religious traditions will remain intact, because i see daily less native and normal traditions being carried on.

Today i was trying to worship my god but as i was bending down to worship my god the European soldiers through me across the room and interrupted me and i was put in jail for going against them supposedly. Then they forced me to go into the army. i refused because of my beliefs of not eating bee. so they through me into jail again. other days werent as bad but i would always be penalized for trying to worship my god.
Here in china it's very difficult to survive. With money and food. We have to give our surplus to the British and also he have to give their money to pay for all the revolts have happened. So many have died. I wish all my fellow citizens. But also we have some good things out of the bad things. Now more inventions have furthered out civilization
Today, I was trying to buy food in the market but the European soldiers started to invade my country. Many people started dying, and I was arrest just for buying corn! I just wish that they Europeans didn't exist at times...They then made me join the army but I refused so I was put in jail again.
My people are so selfish. I personally welcome the Europeans with open arms. they have helped my family so much. My son was about to die from a fever and the Europeans median saved his life. I am eternally grateful.

The Europeans have invaded our home, forcing us to buy their goods. Meanwhile we need other things, we must use our money for other necessities. My family is upset as am I and people are beginning to speak of revolts. This can only lead to the death of many people trying to make a change.
