1. Otto Von Bismarck was know to have manufactured the war, meaning he was in charge of the army which helped unite the Germans to come together and unite. Emperor Wilhelm I created the "new course" which was a economic policy that improved the citizens standard of living.
ReplyDelete2. The Franco Prussian War helped to confirm for good that Prussia was in charge of the German states. This made the German people feel like they belonged to a stronger nation. Having Prussia look over them provided them with security and safeness which is what the German people needed. This helped the Germans to slowly gain confidence, and gain the nationalism that helped them unify and conquer the other countries.
3. At this point in history it as important to have a nationalistic and industrialized society since it provided the people with confidence to stand up for what they believed in and create a society of their own. The Industrialization helped the people to be modern and improve their working, and fighting.
1 The roles that Otto Von Bismarck and Emperor Wilhelm I play in the war was to first create a war against Denmark and later want to attack Austria which Bismarck want and did.By doing this he wanted to achieve the goal of uniting and creating the country Germany. Emperor Wilhelm I role was being the first king of Germany and allowed for the war in austria to begin.
ReplyDelete2 The franco Prussian war helped lead to a new and united Prussia by getting rule over sleshvig and holstein, which were small germanic states. By getting rule over these state it allowed the germanic people to feel a sense of national pride. These were the first pieces of the united germany today. By winning this war it fueled Bismarck to attack Austria which was one of the stronger powers that had most rule over the germanic states.
3The advantages of having a nationalistic and industrialized society at this point was that people were more willing to fight for there own country's unification and freedom from foreign rule. By being industrialized they have the weapons and supplies to start wars and win them. Since Germany had many natural resources it greatly helped them throughout the wars that Bismarck created and won to unite Germany.

The advantage of having an industrialized society is that there is more machinery and equipment to build homes and things that people need.
Bismarck was in charge of declaring war between Denmark, and Wilhelm created a stringer Germany.

The franco prussian war helped lead a new and united prussia by taking over the small german states. This made the people who were taken over to feel a sense of pride which made them a very strong empire. They were nationalists because they were united under Prussia.

The advantages of having nationalistic and industrialized society at this point of history are people having a lot of pride in their country really made the empire have a drive to be the best and conquer other nations. Because this was during the industrialization period, there were many technological advances in which assisted them in combat. These two combinations made any empire a superpower if they utilized both aspects effectively.

ReplyDeleteOtto Von Bismarck successfully governed Prussia during his reign and then after he was in control of Germany and helped to make Germany a much strong country. Not only was he a successful ruler but he began a war with Denmark.

The Franco Prussian War gave pride to the Germans and it made them more powerful and united. They became strong because of their nationalism which made their empire more dominant. Because of Bismarck's victory of winning this war he attack Austria which was very powerful and had most of the control over Germany.

Having a nationalistic and industrialized society at this point in time was a necessity it was valuable to an empire's prosperity. The advantages of having a society like this was that people wanted to bee apart of their countries success and everyone had the same idea which made it easier for a society to succeed. The advantages of being industrialized was that they had the tools and weapons to help fight for what they wanted specifically their freedom from foreign ruling.

Having a nationalistic society unified countries at this time. Being a unified country helped countries succeed in things such as war. Having a sense of nationalism makes a person want to do more for their country. Being an industrialized country at this time gave you a strong advantage during things such as war.

ReplyDelete-Both men promoted and started the war. Acting as representatives for German speaking states they aroused German nationalism.

The only country left to start war against to complete the unification of Germanic states was France. France strongly opposed the annexation of the southern German states because it would contribute to a strong German empire near its borders. However Prussia felt necessary to spark German nationalism in those states sparking rebellion. The war weakened France and Prussia’s “threat” or aggressor was rid of.

The advantage of having a nationalistic and industrialized society is that it increases strength of the empire. Less chance of civil wars when everyone is unified and a strong growing army starts to occur when there are advancements in technology and more people volunteering or being drafted for war.

ReplyDelete2)Nationalism was a common practice, especially for the Germans, in doing so, they have ensured Prussian support, which also unifies them as a country, and had also made Germany more powerful and stable. With this, they had used their sense of power to conquer more land then ever before, and eventually was the overall nationalist turning point of all of Germany.
3) The advantages of a nationalistic and industrialized society would be its quick obtaining of strength which at this time, was very important in the success of a country. The more power you had, the more threatening and large your territory was. Confidence is obtained along with pride, however this power is very catastrophic, where as in the wrong hands, could lead to an inner downfall. 3. well nashanilsum helps because it unifies the country and makes people have pride. industrialism is basically opportunity. this is the time for technology!
1.Otto Von Bismarck was the brains/antagonist behind the war, having caused the war with the intention to unify the German States. Wilhelm I was crowned the German Emperor, who seems to have been manipulated and influenced severely by Bismarck.
ReplyDelete2.By creating a common enemy, Bismarck marked France as the German states key to a unified nation/empire. By altering a telegram, Otto caused offence to the french and in turn had France declare war on Prussia. In the end all German states united to fight France and defeated their common enemy all together crowning William I German Emperor. At this point they had come together under one ruler.
3.Through nationalism there is more motivation to expand and explore to spread beliefs , while being industrialized offers the right technology to make that expansion and exploration possible and manageable.
