1) Pretend you are either a nationalist, a conservative OR a liberal living in the Americas during the Latin American Revolutions. Write a short letter to the editor of a local newspaper describing how you feel about these revolutions.
2) Choose another person and respond to their comment from a different point of view. For example, if somebody wrote from the point of view of a liberal, respond to their comment as if you are a conservative. If they pretend they are a conservative then you respond to them as if you are a liberal.
Dear press,
ReplyDeleteEach Revolution is reaching its height but the Latin American Revolution. It is the middle of this revolution. As a member of the liberal I strongly support these revolutions. If change is wanted ,then a revolution should be part of the process. On the other hand i feel vexed because through these revolution so many lives are lost for no reason.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI'm apart of the liberal, living in the Americas. Now the Latin American Revolution is at great fault right now. Every revolution besides this one, has achieved their goal of succeeding. I'm a very determined, merciless supporter of the revolutions, but it's greatly hurting everybody. Change is the solution to our problem and it should start by there being a stronger supporting system behind the Latin American Revolution. In order for this revolution to succeed on the same level as the others, change must happen now!
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI would say that i am supporting the Revolutions that are happening in Latin America right now. Yes i am a liberal, there are a lot of things that should be changed there. Everyone should be equal no one is better than another person. I feel that the revolutions are good and that it will in the end benefit them and they will be able to be more organized. No matter what they do they should have change even if it means killing people that are against the revolution. The Revolutions are helping them and they should keep happening until they are all organized and there is a new government.
I disagree with Petros. I am a conservative and I believe we should not give everyone what they wish because it will cause more chaos in the future. The constitution was created to benefit the people and I do not believe in disobeying that.
DeleteI disagree, I am a conservative and I have confidence in a strong and controlling government. The governments main purpose is to prevent anarchy and disorder. We shouldn't make any changes in the systems the decisions made in the past is for the best for our country.

ReplyDeleteDear Editor,
I am part of the liberal party. Since I support and embrace the enlightenment ideas of the French revolution I must speak out against divine monarchies and defend natural rights to individuals such as liberty and equality. There must be change for progression to start. So we must have governments on written constitutions and a separation of powers.
I agree, for things to change, we must fight!
DeleteDear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am a conservative and I just want everything to stay the same. These revolutions are changing a lot and its just not necessary!
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am part of the liberal party, and I believe and stand for natural rights and I support the enlightenment ideas of the French Revolution and I am totally against divine monarchies. I am speaking out to defend my natural rights, but not just for me- for others too, and I believe that things need to change and who cares if we need to fight for a change. We need a government who focuses on the written constitutions and cares about natural rights and I believe that when this is done there will be more advancement in our government.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am a conservative and I am writing to you to share my thought on the revolution. I believe everything should remain how the constitution planned it to be. The revolution is ripping our country apart and making chaos. These liberal's just want to give the people as much right as possible and I understand that but we have to obey the constitution because it was made with a certain purpose and made to help us in these situations. If we give everyone what they want it will rip our nation apart eventually and we will have a lot more issues in the future.
I disagree, equal rights is whats best for a society not a controlling government.
DeleteI agree with emily, equal rights is what we deserve giving people these rights is whats best to do
DeleteDear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am a member of the liberal party. I feel that their should be a major change in the way things are run. People should all have their natural rights and no one should be treated higher then the other. I feel we should embrace the ideas of the Enlightenment and be open to experiencing new rules. I believe monarchies are completely out of line and against the rights of citizens.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am from the liberal party and i believe in equality. Everyone in this Revolution should be equal. This Revolution is good for them and I think it will improve the nation. This nation needs change and change will be the best. Change will organize everything and help them.
I am a member of the conservatives and I believed that the idea of giving rights can tear the country apart and the revolution could be the decline of the country
DeleteDear Editor
ReplyDeleteI am a conservative that think that everything should remain the same. I understand that the liberals want to let people have rights. But I honestly don't think that we should go against the Constitution because it was made for a certain reason. This war is destroying our country. Everyone can't have what they want cause that will only cause more problems.
I disagree. As a liberal I believe that through war and struggle, only shall we find peace. This world is in tough times, and is in need of a change. So what if the Constitution states what it does. It was written by just another person who believed they can shape and make rules for us. I strongly suggest you take my input and understand why you're wrong
Delete- THANKS YAAAH
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am from the liberal party and I think that we should go through with this Revolution. I believe that everyone has rights and freedom. There needs to be a change in which things are done. There is a time when you need to stop and ask yourself if this government is working and this government is not. Everyone should be treated equally.
YES! I agree 100% with this statement. As a fellow Liberal i also share the same beliefs !!! :)
DeleteDear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI speak for the liberal party, and I completely support the revolution because we want to mostly see a change in the ruling system. I believe that their should be a significant amount of changes for the background inequalities and the church system. The liberal party hopes that the revolution will be the beginning of change.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am speaking on the behalf of the liberal party. I strongly support the revolution, mainly because I feel that we need a drastic change in the government's intentions and system. Everyone in our society should have equal rights, male and female. This will eliminate all conflicts between the high, middle, and lower classes. This will also help organize the government. Revolution is not always a bad thing if you're doing it for change and it will better the society and environment around you.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am a member of the liberal party and I believe that change, when necessary, is the foundation to success, progress, and achievements. What will be accomplished if everything remains the same?
Dear editor.
ReplyDeleteAs a liberal I feel that these revolutions are the right thing for the people to do. Everyone should have rights and be ruled over someone that takes their feelings into account. So when rulers don't do that and is greedy with power, the people have a right to overthrow and change the ways of their country. Change is always good especially if it gives people the rights and privileges they rightly deserve.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am a member of the liberal party. I feel that all the revolutions that are going on around us, are all relevant. It is important to experience different ideas that not only do the people of our country have, but also listen to what some of the members of our government believe in. It is evident that we try new things to see what would be the best fit for our country. Change is for the better, and it will help our citizens get the rights they deserve, equal with everyone.
Dear Editor
ReplyDeleteAs a member of the liberal party, I believe that the revolution should surely be supported in order to see change. The greatest changes I hope to see should be in equality. No one should be above anyone else, or have a different set of rights all should be the same for everyone.
Dear, Editor
ReplyDeleteI am a part of the liberal party. I feel that all the revolutions happening in the americas are a very good thing, Its good thing that various ideas are expressed and fought for, if people believe that a change should happen within the central government but that government doesn't let the change happen then the people have the right to fight for it in order for their beliefs to become a reality and make the nation stronger as a whole.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteAs party of the Liberal Party, I feel that the revolutions are necessary in order to have change in the community. Without change, rights of the people are unbalanced and seem to be unfair. With the revolution, people will be able to fight for what is right, and everyone can live peacefully and equally, without anyone being in a state of higher power or authority.
-Luciano Cardoza
I disagree with you liberals! We should stick to what we know. If we turn from that then we will go into chaos. Not everyone can be equal because we need the workers and the shop owners and the people to buy from the shop owners who get their items from the workers. It's just how it works! If we have no authority then we have no working society.
Delete- Conservative.
1. Dear editor,
ReplyDeleteAs a liberal, I am very open to new ways on how to stop these Latin American Revolutions. It's a daily struggle and I just want peace. People are dying and places are being destroyed. We must fix this.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteAs a member of the liberal party, I believe in change and equality. I feel this young world fiends for revolution. Our governments should be in the hands of what our citizens believe, not the hierarchy. Just because certain people are in a higher social system and are believed to be "superior", it doesn't mean that people should be slaved away and treated with improper and inhumane ways. We are inspired by the French Revolution and hope to change Latin America for the people and for us to prosper.
- James Pellegrino
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteChange and equality is key! We can't continue living in the old time and reliving events that always seem to reoccur because of a failing government. Conservatives are creating a horrible environment for people who long for change which is greatly needed. Change will better benefit everyone. Everyone desires natural rights which they should receive. They also deserve freedom. Incorporating equality into all of our lives and the government can only lead to a more efficient government as well as an improved well being for all participating.
- A Liberal
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am a conservative, and as a conservative I believe that we should follow the constitution, after all that is what it was made for. It was purposely made to help us when we need it. All the liberal's want to do is give the people as many rights as possible, but that would lead to chaos. If everyone has equal power, there would be a fight for everything and even if everyone was equal, not everyone would still be treated equally. I believe that sticking to the constitution will settle this dispute and will not push us into turmoil and chaos.
Dear editor,
ReplyDeleteBecause of the fact that I have conservative views on the revolutions, I do not think that it should be gone through with because everything is fine as it is. No change is needed within the Americas. This country was fine the way it was by following the constitution and if the revolution is gone through with it will damage the country. Equality isn't the most important thing because someone should stay in charge and rule over everything. These are my conservative views on the revolution.
- Peter McKee
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteAs part of the liberal party, We believe and agree of the natural rights why shouldn't everyone be treated equally? and yes I as well agree with the enlightenment ideas of the French Revolution. But never will I not say how I feel and defend my natural rights, for us all, we all deserve that and I believe a change is what's best. Look at our government we need a government who cares about natural rights and I believe that this will make everything a lot better.
I disagree with you, I feel that will just cause chaos that is very unnecessary.
DeleteDear Editor,
ReplyDeleteAs conservative, Im completely positive that we should all follow the constitution, i mean why should people follow rules. It will help us a lot if we did. I get everyone wanting to be equal but thats not whats going to be right, all that will do is cause problems between people, and why does anyone want that. We should all follow the constitution instead of leading into more problems, people don't need.
Dear Editor, I am a fellow conservative supporting the rights of the constitution and am here to say that the constitution is what holds us as a nation together. without the laws, we would be in utter chaos, and end up going nowhere. we would be like lost people in the desert searching for civilization. The liberals try to give people as many rights as possible, but what they do not realize is the more privelage you have, the more it can be taken advantage of.
ReplyDeleteas a liberal i disagree. you say that if the people have rights they will take advantage, how ever there are already ruling monarchs that abuse their power and take advantage of the fact that the people have very little privileges or none at all. there is chaos when there is an unfair ruling king
DeleteDear Editor,
ReplyDeleteAs a liberal i believe that every human begin should have equal rights. Even the people in the the lower class should have the same rights as a person in the upper class, because we are all human begins, therefore we are the same. I believe that we need a government in order to keep our nation in control, and in order, however the government should not overpower our nation and give each human begin the rights that they naturally deserve.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI'm from a liberal party and I believe that everyone in the revolution should be equal to one another. This nation needs change and change will be the best. Change will organize everything and help them become a more powerful nation and civilized one.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteBeing part of the liberal party i believe that everybody should have their equal rights. I find that people fighting for what they believe in. If people want change to happen they should make it happen. Even though we may be put in different classes everybody should have the same equal rights as the people in the upper class.
Dear editor,
ReplyDeleteI am from the liberal party. Everyone deserves to have equal rights. We are all the same and one individual should not be treated any differently. Everyone deserves to have natural rights.
Dear editor,
ReplyDeleteAs a member of the liberal party I believe in equality and change. Everyone should be treated equal because we are al the same and humans, no one should be treated differently. If this means change has to occur then so be it. Natural rights is key to equality and change as well.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am a member of the Liberal Party and believe in equal rights, every man, women and child shall be able to see each other without thinking they are better then one another, no one should be treated differently in the matter of wealth, or social class, if this Revolution stands fighting for equal right, im all for it. There should be change, and change there shall be.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteAs a nationalist, I highly advocate for independence of our country from European control. We live in our own country as second-class citizens as a result of European domination. Every man, women, and child should be entitled to their natural rights. European imperialism brought us nothing but injustice and suffering. That is why I feel that independence from Europe is necessary and we should support our revolution and bring changes to our nation.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am a member of the liberal party and i support the revolution because everyone has rights and freedom. I support the enlightenment ideas of the French Revolution and I’m against divine monarchies.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteAs one of the members of the liberal party everyone should be equal no matter what. People should have a saying in what they believe in. They should be allow to vote for what they believe should be a change in the society.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am a member of the liberal party and i believe the revolution is necessary for the benefit of the people. All the people should be equal not set in to different categorizes. The people want a democracy so we will make it so.
Dear Editor, as a member of the liberal party. I think that change and everyone to be the some is a good thing. This government that we have should be changed to people who really want change not only because their wealthy. With the French Revolution happening many country's like latin america have to change for the people and for us to be financially stable.
ReplyDeleteDear Editor,
ReplyDeleteAs a member of the liberal party, I think that there needs to be some changes. This government should change for people because their not all wealthy. With the French Revolution happening many country's like Latin America have to change for the people and for us to be financially stable.
dear editor,
ReplyDeleteas a liberal, i support these revolutions, because us liberals want to see a change in the ruling system of the land. there are inequalities, slavery, and a corrupt church system that needs to be replaced with the democratic system that we have all proposed for the protection and care for the right of individuals and liberty.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteI am currently a member of the liberal party with a strong support of equal rights. Natural rights should always be taken into consideration and they should come before all other rules and rights. Inequality only leads to more inequality and corruption, and by changing the way things are run, we can make an attempt to better our nation.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteAs a representative of the liberal party, I think that adjustment pf everyone would be a good thing. With the Revolution happening many nations like Latin America have to adjust for the citizens to be stable money wise.
Dear Editor,
ReplyDeleteAs a liberal I am siding with change. Although many people are against change it is only because they fear that what is to come will disrupt their lives and/or take from what they have gained. The revolution is needed to proceed in our futures, we must
leave behind the medieval ways and look to progress.
I disagree with your view, there is always room for change. We must be able to create new laws and place all as equals.
