I don't think that people will every want to stop using technology. It is part of our everyday lives, and we use it for so many things. We couldn't do a lot of things if we didn't have technology.

In The event of the technology becoming a large part of the jobs, the companies have lee way to hire less skilled workers and pay everyone lower wages. It could be viewed from ether aspect and be backed up with a lot of facts. Technology influences our lives in positive ways because we have more access to greater things beyond the human mind. Because this world so rapidly becomes more advanced there are many things that are accessible to us now that wouldn't be present in previous decades. Advances in technology greatly benefit the health care industry,criminal justice, the government, and peoples every day lives. A Negative way that technology can have an impact is that many people are becoming too dependent on technology and some wouldn't be able to live without it. Dependency on anything, even a person is never a good thing.

No. I believe it benefits us way too much for people to violently oppose it, especially in our generation as well as future ones. Since They will be surrounded by very advanced technology from the time their born, which even will become more advanced by the time they die. Because of this technology present in their lives will become second nature, and people will grow a dependency to it.It wouldn't make sense for people to want to oppose something that has become a huge part of their lives, for they will not know how to live without it.

ReplyDeleteThe Luddites were against the newly developed labour saving machines because they threatened their jobs such as the artisans with less-skilled, low-wage labourers, leaving them without work. The Neo-Luddites destroyed and abandoned the use of technology because they believed that that technology had a negative impact on society, their communities and the environment.

I think that technology has done harm but also has done so many things as far as illnesses and helping discover cures. Although some technology is also destroying our environment such as air pollution which resulted in Global warming.

No I don't think that one day people will go against technology because everyone has become so addicted and attached to technology without even noticing. By have technology that is created in factors we have factories that allow people who aren't very skilled have jobs. It also causes a advancement in our civilization and can help people live even. For instance if we didn't have technology then machines like heart monitors,respirators, and x-rays would not catch many illnesses or keep people alive without them. Also we didm;t have leading scientists come up with inventions then we would be able to solve many scientific theories that could better allow us to understand our world. Finally by having technology it can create more products for a growing human race.
3 I don't believe that people may again violently oppose the integration of technology because they will see how much more good that it does for us. Like allow us to do things quicker,get to places faster, and talk to people far away faster.I believe that as a society we are very technologically built and are made from infants to adapt and use new technology. The technology in our world today is influencing our lives in a negative way. We have become so dependent on google, and sources that give us information. We also have been obsessed with technology so much that when people "hang out" it consists of half of the people with there faces in there iphone. Since technology is such a big influence and is everywhere in our lives it's going to be a mix of both. It's negative in that there is limited human interaction but it is positive in that we learn so much from what can be shared from around the world.

I believe there are already people who oppose technology today, but it's kind of hard to get away from unless you live in the middle of nowhere. Even farms have technology. I do not believe there will be a whole revolution against it though.

I believe that technology is influencing in both a negative and positive way, in a good way because its easier to get in touch with people you cant see everyday, and when needed a answer you can use, technology like the computers to look up your answer so easily. I feel its bad because instead of being being social by talking face to face, we most commonly do it online to avoid being face to face. Our biggest issue is from being able to be so anonymous online, which is very bad and dangerous because you don't know who you are talking too if they are good or bad

1) Luddites in the 19th century had to worry for their job and the sustainment of their families. The new technologies were reducing the amount of work for skilled artisans by replacing them with less skilled workers who were paid less. The Neo-Luddites fear the loss of the human Being. Structures and food to eat was once produced from our bare hands, now we have machines building for us and making our food. Their concern is having technology tower over the human entity of soul and Being.
ReplyDelete2) In our time, technology has become very beneficial to us. We walk away with so much more than we began with and bring back what we have gained and return furthermore richer. While technological advances in warfare weaponry is a cause for fear, of true enemy is the infusion of technology with biogenics. I currently see the movement of the… government, if you would, towards the unification of every single piece of digitised information for every person. (I had to create an email to access a recently bought laptop. That is the singularity of all the information that will ever go onto the laptop, it will all reflect upon that email address.)

I think technology has influenced our lives in many positive ways but also many negative ways. For example many people with certain diseases,disorders, or handicaps may now do something that they're body wouldn't allow because of technology. Such as prosthetic limbs for people who are born deformed or without certain body parts. Or computers with keyboards to help people speak (Stephen Hawking). Or motorized chairs for people who are paralyzed from the neck down or for paraplegics. Some negative things are that it can take jobs away from people, Also that it works as a social blocks causing people to not pay attention to their surroundings. Also a negative aspect of it is that many company businesses count on computers to sort their files which means if things were to crash everything would go down.
